GL Events UK Celebrates Continued Partnership with Crufts

Organised annually by The Kennel Club since 1891, Crufts is an international gathering celebrating canine talent, breeding, and companionship, drawing an extensive global audience. This is the second contract for temporary seating that GL events UK has secured with Crufts, underscoring the successful and longstanding relationship between the two organisations.

With over 1,000 seats to be installed each year, GL events UK’s temporary seating installation at Crufts includes four large grandstands designed to provide comfortable and safe viewing for thousands of attendees. Despite the scale of the installation, the team operates with remarkable efficiency, building the entire seating arrangement in a single day. This rapid turnaround is particularly beneficial to the event organisers, allowing for an uninterrupted setup of various stalls and activities that make up the larger Crufts experience.

Each grandstand we provide is designed to ensure audience comfort and safety. Two of the four grandstands are fully numbered and lettered, with four gangways for easy access and dividing rails to guide guests and manage traffic flow. Added features include netting to cover the back of each grandstand. This netting, which is both reliable and cost-effective, has proven popular among Crufts organisers for its practicality and reliable safety performance.

Beyond the initial installation, the GL events UK team provides daily inspections of the grandstands throughout the event, ensuring that seating remains secure and comfortable for guests. This ongoing maintenance shows the commitment we have to quality and safety, solidifying our reputation as a trusted partner for major events.
